EDWARD BRODBECK
April 3, 1861-September 21, 1934

Eduard Benignus Casimir Brodbeck was born April 3, 1861 in Fredericksburg, Texas. He was the second child and son of Jacob and Christina. His occupation was listed as a blacksmith. Ed married the former Miss Minna Agnes Kamp March 6, 1899.  They were said to have had a dairy farm south of Austin and sold milk to many well known businesses They lived in Austin where they raised their five children, four girls: Frieda Christine, Elsa Agnes, Annie Louise, and Marguarite Helena (also known as Dolly), and one boy: Edward Jacob (Buddy). He died September 21, 1934 at his home near Manor. Ed and his dear wife Minna are buried in the Oakwood Cemetery Annex in Austin, Texas.
